The previously introduced LEGO 10300 Icons DeLorean Time Machine was not the first LEGO set that LEGO released to celebrate the Back to the Future movies. Back in August 2013, the first DeLorean Time Machine was released as part of the LEGO Ideas themed world.

The set, which was released at an original MSRP of 39.99 $ and went End of Life in December 2014, is now only available at high collector prices. The original Back to the Future set, which consisted of 401 bricks, also included two minifigures featuring Marty McFly and Doc Brown.
